Licence Agreement

This TecEd e unit is provided under the following licence agreement which defines what you may do with the product and contains limitations on warranties and/or remedies.

Please read these conditions before using this TecEd e unit (“the e unit”). If you use the e unit you agree to become bound by these conditions. If you do not wish to do so, do not use the e unit.

This licence grants you the right to install and use the e unit on multiple machines within the purchasing institution and personal machines of registered students at the purchasing institution subject to the restrictions listed below and the disclaimer relating to warranties, support and damages.

1) Disclaimer:

The e unit is provided on an "as is" basis, without any other warranties, or conditions, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantable quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or those arising by law, statute, usage of trade or course of dealing. The entire risk as to the results and performance of the Product is assumed by you. TecEd will not have any liability to you or any other person or entity for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages whatsoever, including but not limited to loss of revenue or profit, lost or damaged data or other commercial or economic loss, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages or they are foreseeable; or for claims by a third party. You may have other rights which vary from country to country.

2) Restrictions:

This licence gives you the right to use the e unit for one year from the date of purchase but all rights not specifically mentioned in this agreement, including ownership rights, intellectual property rights, trademarks and copyright, are reserved by TecEd. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise reduce the e unit to a human perceivable form. You may not modify, rent or resell for profit the e unit, or create derivative works based upon the e unit. Any reproduction of the e unit is restricted to use within the purchasing institution. Each registered student of the purchasing institution may install one copy of the e unit on one personal machine and, in doing so, agrees to the conditions set out in this licence.
